Strawberry Field — Located on Beaconsfiled Road in the suburb of Woolton in Liverpool, Strawberry Field was the name of a Salvation Army Children's Home around the corner from John Lennon's childhood home. In 1966, the song, "Strawberry Fields Forever" was written by John Lennon and recorded by the English rock band The Beatles.
